MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1963. Stopped in 1970 after 36 issues.

The series takes place in Orbit City in space in the year 2062. Apart from the futuristic setting the series tells of a fairly average American family consisting of George Jetson, his wife Jane, and their children Judy and Elroy. Other characters are Rosey the household robot, and Astro the pet dog.

The series is based on an animated cartoon TV series that ran from 1962 to 1963 and from 1985 to 1987 (75 episodes).
