MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1940*. Stopped in 1946 after 17 issues.

The title character is Michael Shelby (Johnny Green in some of the issues!), who is a superhero with powers obtained from an experimental machine emanating vita-rays. The Green Mask has a young sidekick called Domino.

The series was retitled to simply reading Green Mask from #12.

* The character was first published in Mystery Men Comics from 1939.
