MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1973. Stopped in 1977 after 20 issues.

The series takes place in the Stone Age, where an alien crashlands his flying saucer near Fred Flintstone's home. The alien is a small, green character who likes being slightly mischievous (he teleports himself, he dematerializes objects, he freezes time, and so on), and is soon referred to as The Great Gazoo.

The series was taken from the animated cartoon TV series The Flintstones, in which the character appeared in 11 episodes.

The full title of the series is The Flintstones Featuring The Great Gazoo.
