Name: DC (American comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

Comments: The corporation's logo changed several times over the years. The selected one ran from 1976 to 2005.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1991*. Stopped in 1992 after 18 issues.

The series is narrated by Rob Connors AKA the superhero called The Comet, and we are presented to his actions via flashbacks. He gained the ability of flight through a powerful electric shock, that also rendered him with the ability to generate laser beams and force blasts.

* The title of this series has been used several times over the years starring different heroes. The series on this page is just one example, and it is loosely based on the 1939 series.
