MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1958. Stopped in 1963 after 9 issues. The numbering sequence was highly unusual; the published issues were 1-4, 8-10, 14, 18.

The title character is Benjamin Bang, a youngster who spends most of his time pondering on new ideas and inventing surprising gadgets. Some are useless, some are imaginative, and some are brilliant, but Benjamin keeps on working much to his parents' dismay.

The front cover title for 5 of the issues was The Brain! (with an added exclamation mark).
