MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2007*. Stopped in 2012 after 72 issues.

The title characters are a team of CIA agents, whose primary task it is to monitor certain superheroes that have gone bad. The team has several members, of which William 'Billy' Butcher, Mother's Milk, and 'Wee' Hughie Campbell are the most often recurring. Thanks to a special chemical called Compound V they possess great strength that helps them against the superheroes.
