MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1956. Stopped in 1990 after 1809 issues*, but continued titled The Beezer and Topper.

This is one of the world's most longlasting magazines containing a broad variety of English humour and action series. Examples are Colonel Blink, Ginger, Iron Hand, Plug, Sting, and The Black Sapper.

The issues were published in tabloid format until 1981, when the standard comic book format was adapted.

* During its run the series was briefly retitled The Beezer and Cracker and later The Beezer and Plug.
