MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1964, but the main characters debuted in 1951.

Disney created two major funny animal universes of great significance - the duck universe and the mouse universe. They both appear in several types of media.
A group of primary characters from the duck universe is The Beagle Boys who live in Duckburg. They are bungling criminals targetted on seizing all of Uncle Scrooge's money.
Occasionally a similar looking gang of youngsters emerges. They are called The Beagle Brats.

The stories were/are written by an overwhelming number of artists. Examples: Carl Barks (1901-2000), Bob Bartholomew (1917-?), Robert 'Bob' Paul Gregory (1921-2003), Victor 'Vic' Lockman (1927-), Werner Wejp-Olsen (1938-), Paul Halas (1949-).
