Name: DC (American comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1952. Stopped in 1959 after 46 issues.

The starring character is a courageous, white German shepherd dog, that has led a rather tumultuous life. It underwent basic training in the American army and participated in World War 2, and then it worked with crime fighting, as a circus artist, and a film star. Furthermore, it has visited the past fighting dinosaurs as well as the future fighting aliens.
Rex has multiple skills, one of which is the ability of communicating with both animals and humans, skills that come in handy on many occasions.
