MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1954. Stopped in 1975 after 169 issues*, but was continued titled Cowboy med Texas from 1975 to 1985 (additional 76 issues) as well as Texas med Sheriff from 1976 to 1979 (additional 44 issues).

The series contains several independent action stories from the Wild West. Some of the most often recurring series are Buck Jones, Buffalo Bill Jr., Gringo, and Kit Carson.

* The publishing emerged in three periods: 1954-1956 (52 issues), 1962 (6 issues), and 1965-1975 (111 issues).
