The dominating character is Tex Willer, who lived
on his father's ranch in Texas until the father was killed
during a robbery. Tex tracked down the killers, and since then
he has dedicated his life to help people against the villains of
the Old West.
* The
series as such has been published in more than 1100 issues
covering many versions, but the first version started in 1948 as
a strip comic book titled Collana del Tex (Collana is Italian
for 'collection of similar texts').
