MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1942. Stopped in 1947 after 59 issues, but was revived from 1947 to 1951 (additional 24 issues) and from 1952 to 1953 (additional 9 issues).

The series contains a mixture of funny animal stories featuring diverse characters such as Andy and Bertie, Dinky Duck, Gandy and Sourpuss, Heckle and Jeckle, Mighty Mouse, and Oscar.

The main concept came from cartoons made by the Terrytoon animation studio (1929-1968).
