MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1984. Stopped in 1985 after 43 issues.

The stories feature the panda bear Taotao and his adventures among friends such as Kiki the monkey, Puu the hare, and Puru the unicorn. In every issue his mother tells a fairy tale or a fable that connects with the day's events.

The series is mostly based on a Japanese TV cartoon show that aired in Germany from 1984 (52 episodes).
