Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

The series premiered in 1979. Stopped in 1982 after 22 issues*.

This Swedish magazine series (the title means Swedish Series in English) consists of Swedish comic book material made by upcoming artists.

* The series had a second run from 1987 to 1996 (additional 42 issues), in which the main concept was changed into incorporating series from known professional artists.
