Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1982*. Stopped in 1983 after 39 issues, but continued titled Stålmannen until 1987 (additional 48 issues).

This Swedish magazine series consists of diverse stories featuring American superheroes, especially Superman.

The full title of the series is Supermagasinet Stålmannen.
