MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1965.

Goofy has a secret superhero identity of Super Goof. He transforms via the eating of special peanuts that grow in his garden, whereupon he acquires the traditional superpowers such as being able to fly and look through walls. Goof's uniform consists of red, woolen underwear and a blue sack for a cape. His identity is only known to his nephew Gilbert, who sometimes lends him a hand as Super Gilly.

The stories were/are written by an overwhelming number of artists. Examples: Carl Robert Fallberg (1915-1996), Del G. Connell (1918-2011), Robert 'Bob' Allen Ogle (1926-1984), Ivan Saidenberg (1940-2009), Joel Katz (1945-), Paul Halas (1949-).
