Personal dates: Founded in 1934 by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson (1890-1968) as National Allied Publications, but the name changed in 1937 to Detective Comics (later shortened to DC). Stopped in 2011.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1956. Stopped in 1971 after 98 issues.

The starring characters are two toddlers, Sugar Plumm and Cecil 'Spike' Wilson, who play together and communicate in babytalk that only they can understand.
