Comments: Charlton published stories from all genres of the comic book universe. The company was known for its low-budget activities that included the publishing of previously unpublished material from bygone companies.

The series premiered in 1955*. Stopped in 1965 after 51 issues*.

The series contains a mixture of horror, science fiction, and weird suspense in self-contained stories.

* Initially, the series was published in several runs beginning in Fawcett Comics from 1952 (5 issues). Then Charlton took over from 1954 (7 issues) followed by another run (this one) ending with a series lasting from 1967 to 1969 (9 issues).
