Name: Egmont Group (worldwide comics corporation).
Personal dates: Founded in Denmark in 1878 by Egmont Harald Petersen (1860-1914) and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Gutenberghus). Ongoing.

Comments: The corporation has always focussed on childrens' literature. It has branches all over the world, but the pages in this site are all examples from the Danish main  branch.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1989. Stopped in 2002 after 22 issues.

The fantasy and science fiction stories are divided into two parts, that take place on an post-apocalyptic Earth and in the parallel Pandarve universe. The title character is an astronaut who happened to get lost in time, and now he has to battle through hostile sceneries in order to restore his life. Most of the time Storm is accompanied by the red-haired girl Ember (also known as Carrots, Redhair, and Roodhaar) and the red-skinned man Nomad.
