MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1985*. Stopped in 1986 after 12 issues, but has been revived several times since then.

The starring characters are a team of diverse superheroes, who offers their help to the American government in order to rid people of villains and diseases. The team's members come and go to a certain extent. Some of the recurring ones are Doctor Spectrum, Hyperion, Nighthawk, Power Princess, Tom Thumb, and Whizzer.
