MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2001. Stopped in 2002 after 11 issues.

The series takes place at a point in time when the USA discovers that an ancient civilization once ruled the Earth. By their own misuse they died out but managed to leave several artifacts which, in the wrong hands, can lead to destruction today. A special government company called the Arcam Corporation now travels to find the powerful artifacts before they fall in the hands of ominous forces.
One of the many Arcam agents is the 17-year old Yu Ominae who is attached to a branch called the Arcam Foundation which specializes in archaelogical finds.

The series' title Spriggan refers to a legendary troll character from Cornish (Southwest England) faery lore. In the USA it is titled Striker, which is the equivalent term for said character.
