MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1980. Stopped in 1983 after 97 issues.

The title character is a young boy from the planet Olympus who travels to Earth in an attempt to promote teamwork and sportsmanship, but he is constantly hindered by the evil Queen Vanda who hates sports and fairness. Some of the time Billy is accompanied by the girl Lilly and the talking dog Willy.

The series origins from an American cartoon TV show that aired in Germany from 1979 to 1980 (26 episodes). Sport-Billy as a character has since been used as a mascot for various sports events in several countries.
