MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1974. Stopped in 1982 after 57 issues.

The starring character is Spider-man, who emerges in new stories made especially for younger children, i.e. not too violent and with little dialogue. Marvel would also place at least one of their other superheroes in every magazine so as to make the readers familiar with the supply of superheroes on the market.

The basic idea derived from a children's TV show that aired from 1974 to 1977.
