The series premiered in

The somewhat wimpy high
school student, Peter Benjamin Parker, gets
bidden by a radioactive spider, which causes him
to gain the ability to acrobatically roam around
defying gravity. He recognizes his superpowers
and disguises in a special suit ready for
fighting crime wherever he sees it.
The series' full title is The
Amazing Spider-man.
