MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1987*. Stopped in 1990 after 38 issues, but has been revived several times since then.

The title character in this manga series is Gō Mifune, who is a dedicated racecar driver in his Mach 5. Mifune oftentimes winds up in dangerous situations with combattants, match fixers, and thugs, but he always manages to come out on top. From time to time his older brother Rex from Racer X joins him.

* The character as such was first published in Japan in 1958 and then known as Mach GoGoGo.
