MAIN STORY
The series premiered in 1939. Stopped in 1947 after 44 issues.

The main character is Shock Gibson, dubbed The Human Dynamo, one of the first superheroes in comic books. Via his testing of electric power he increases his strength, so that he can fire bolts of lightning, and he gains the ability of flight. From then on he spent much of his career helping the US army battling the Axis forces during World War 2.
