MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1992. Ongoing, and has spawned many other series such as Curse of the Spawn from 1996 to 1999 (29 issues).

The title character is Albert 'Al' Francis Simmons, who used to be an officer in the US Marine Corps until he was murdered. His disfigured body was resurrected with a substance called necroplasm, and he is now a Hellspawn with superpowers, dressed in a necroplasm suit and using an arsenal of military weaponry.
The series hosts an array of recurring characters including the title characters from Sam and Twitch.
