Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

Comments: The corporation's name is a contraction of Series and Comics. The Semic pages in this site contain  examples from the Swedish and the Norwegian main branches.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1984. Stopped in 1985 after 9 issues, but has since been revived, especially in Archie Comics, in many shortlived publications as well as a longlasting version started in 1993. Ongoing.

This Norwegian series consists of action stories featuring the eponymous title character from the Japanese video game company Sony.
