Comments: * The corporation was bought by Acclaim Entertainment in 1994 that stopped in 2004. Valiant then continued the corporation from 2008. Different logos were used during the periods; the one shown to the left derives from the initial run.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1991. Stopped in 1996 after 60 issues, but has been briefly revived several times since then.

The title character's real name is Phil Saleski. He is an atomic scientist, who, when trying to stop a meltdown, gained immortality and unique solar powers that he now uses to battle evil.

The full title of the series is Solar Man of the Atom. It must not be confused with Doctor Solar Man of the Atom starring Raymond Solar.
