The series premiered in
1948*. Stopped in 1949 after 7 issues.
The title character, Smitty Smith, starts out as a
young office boy, and he has a gallery of secondary characters
such as his dog Scraps, his baby brother Herby, his girlfriend
Ginny, and the Indian guide Little Moose. Despite his job position
Smitty is often involved in all sorts of exciting and
adventurous travels.
