MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1993. Stopped in 1994 after 12 issues.

The crooked police sergeant Frank Hoag is selling out information to a crime boss on a monthly basis, but at one point the boss tries to kill his informer. This happens in a chemical storeroom, where he is protected from the flying bullets, but at a price; the combined liquids transform Hoag into a superpowered monster known as Sludge. He now turns his attention to fighting crime and monsters.
