MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2003. Stopped in 2011 after 32 issues.

The very laid-back schoolboy Yoh Asakura is a medium who is able to change between the worlds of the living and the dead. He seeks to advance to be the Shaman King (a Shaman is an intermediary who can use magic, foretell the future, control spiritual forces and so on), and to that end he has to win the Shaman fight. So he sets out on a journey that shall prepare him for the tournament.
