Name: Semic Press (subsidiary of the worldwide Egmont Group).
Personal dates: Founded in Sweden in 1950 as a comic book subdivision of the publishing company Bonnier AB and has since then changed name several times (the most well known older name is probably Serieförlaget). Sold to Egmont in 1997.

Comments: The corporation's name is a contraction of Series and Comics. The Semic pages in this site contain  examples from the Swedish and the Norwegian main branches.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1987. Stopped in 1997 after 96 issues, but was continued by another publisher until 2004 (additional 70 issues). In 2010 the series was revived as Nya Serie-Paraden.

This Swedish magazine series consists of diverse stories featuring different humourous characters.
