MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1948. Stopped in 1951 after 15 issues.

The starring character is a school boy named Scribbly Jibbet, who wants to be a cartoonist. He tries to get a job where he can live out his dream of becoming a famous cartoon strip artist, but he also has to deal with real, everyday problems such as - girls.
The main plotline can be seen as a semi-autobiographical rendering of cartoonist Sheldon Mayer, who created Scribbly in 1936.
