The series premiered in 1970. Stopped in 1974 after 125 issues, but continued titled Scorcher and Score.

The series mainly contains football themed stories such as Billy's Boots, Brainey's Bombers, Hot Shot Hamish, Kangaroo Kid, Nipper, and The Amazing Strollers.
