MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1970. Stopped in 1973 after 16 issues, but continued until 1975 with an additional 14 issues under the title Scooby Doo Mystery Comics.

The starring character, Scooby Doo, is a talking and very timid Great Dane, who constantly runs into mysterious crime cases often involving supposed supernatural creatures. To help him straighten things out he has four teenagers: Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Fred Jones.

The series is based on an animated cartoon TV series that started in 1969 (298 episodes until 2012). The full title of both the cartoon series is Scooby-Doo, Where are You!, while the comic book series is titled Scooby Doo...Where are You! (observe the minor changes).
