MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1979. Stopped in 1980 after 30 issues.

The stories are loosely built on 11 novels from 1883 onwards that feature the righteous Bornean Prince Sandokan, who reluctantly turns to piracy in the South China Sea under the name of The Tiger of Malaysia in order to fight colonial powers and criminal elements to create justice in the region. He is accompanied by his wife Marianna and his best friend Yanez.

The first 6 issues of the series were published in a larger format than standard.
