MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2004. Stopped in 2006 after 10 issues.

This manga series takes place in feudal Japan, where the historically based Yamada Asaemon functions as a sword-tester for the Shogun. His nickname is Kubikiri-Asa, loosely translated to Decapitator Asaemon, as he is frequently performing executions.
