MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1988*. Stopped in 1989 after 7 issues.

The starring character is Hotachi Kimura, a Samurai swordsman, who works for the paramilitary Splinter organization lead by Velvet Black. But Kimura realizes that the organization is not what it seems when it tries to develop an invincible army of clones, so he instead joins a rebel fraction known as Black Dove in order to eliminate his former colleagues.
