MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2005. Stopped in 2006 after 8 issues.

This is a pocket-sized Manga series taking place in a fictional universe from where the Greek gods reincarnate to Earth often using war as a mean of dominance against other gods. The stories concentrate on the Goddess Athena, who is defended by a group of so-called Gold Saints with superhuman powers.
The series features a large number of diverse characters, one of which is the male warrior Leo Aiolia, the leader of the Gold Saints.

The series' title derives from a book on mythological Seiya, the Pegasus Saint of light and energy.
