Comments: The corporation partly focussed on Japanese Manga comic books, and it still has several active, overseas subsidiaries.

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1998*. Stopped in 2001 after 35 issues.

The schoolgirl Usagi Tsukino is dealt the task of saving the Earth from evil, and under the name Sailor Moon she assembles a female Sailor team of so-called Sailor Scouts who go to work primarily using magical powers. A few of the multiple recurring characters are Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Saturn, and Sailor Uranus.

* The initial Japanese series was published from 1991 to 1997 (52 chapters in 18 issues) and was known as Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon as well as Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
