MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2004. Stopped in 2006 after 7 issues.

The main scenario is that of Japan being at war, and the government turns some of its inhabitants into biochemical cyborgs in order to counter the threat. One of the military cyborgs is the normally very shy and clumsy girl Chise, who, at the same time, has an awkward romance with a high school boy named Shuuji.

The series' title can be translated as The Lowest in English, but the series is also known as She the Ultimate Weapon.
