MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1994. Stopped in 1995 after 10 issues.

The starring character is normally known as Erik Johnson, but he is really a bat-winged alien named Rune. On Earth he has superpowers via a set of Star Stones that he wears around his neck. But Rune also has a dark side; he is a vampire-like being who drinks the blood and eats the flesh of superhuman adversaries in order to maintain his powers.
