MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1948*. Stopped in 1949 after 11 issues.

The starring character is a young female who lives in the jungles of Africa. She started out as Jane Dodge (from #20 renamed Joan Grayson!), an aviatrix, who flew over an African jungle and crashed. Since then she has remained on the location as its protector dressed in a giraffe skin.

The full title of the series is Rulah Jungle Goddess.

* The title character first emerged in Zoot Comics from 1946 to 1948 (16 issues), until she got her own series starting with issue #17.
