MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2008. Stopped in 2009 after 10 issues, but was continued from 2010 to 1013 (additional 12 issues).

The teenage boy Tsukune Aono has trouble being accepted into his local high school due to poor grades, so his parents manage to enroll him in a private school named the Yokai Academy. Too late it dawns on Aono that the school is a boarding school for monsters and vampires, and he begins to fear for his life.
As time goes by he is befriended by some of the school's vampire girls, especially Moka Akashiya, from whom he accidentally removes her special rosario (a rosary of beads used by Catholics) causing her to change personality.
