MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1988. Stopped in 1992 after 9 issues.

This is a humouristic parody series very loosely based on the colourful adventures of Robin Hood from Sherwood Forest in medieval England. The series alters and twists the legends in various ways; for instance, Robin and his merry men try to rob the people in their surroundings, and Robin goes on drinking sprees with the sheriff, who in turn is under the thumb of a very determined wife named Kunigunde. Furthermore, large numbers of bewildered Teutonic knights are roaming the area to no avail.

Robin's surname (also written as Aus dem Wald) is a direct translation from the French original title Dubois meaning From the Woods in English.
