MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1999. Stopped in 2005 after 24 issues, but has been revived a few times since then.

The stories in this superhero genre evolve around a group of 113 persons known as Specials, who were born with a variety of powers following the appearance of a mystical beam of light from a passing comet. Some of the Specials try to lead normal lives, while others use their powers for the good of mankind.
