MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 2002. Stopped in 2006 after 19 issues, but has been revived a few times since then.

The series' title is Latin for King of the World, and the stories present an ongoing murder mystery set in the 1930s Paris, France. The initial plotline follows the physician Julien Saunière's accidental discovery of a thousand years old scroll describing the secret nature of the biblical Holy Grail. Multiple persons are participating in the search for the object.
