MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1977. Stopped in 1979 after 15 issues, but has been revived numerous times since then under the same title or titled Queen Sonja.

The title character is a redheaded, fiery girl who lives in the Hyborian Age. When she reaches the age of 17 her entire family is killed by villains, but she manages to avoid death. From now on she becomes a wandering warrior bent on revenge. Her considerable skills within the field of martial arts as well as her skills as a swordmaster are her most unique features.
