:  The corporation chiefly published pulp fiction magazines and novels, but from 1940 to 1949 it took up publishing comic books as well. It never used a logo on these front covers.

 

 

MAIN STORY

The series premiered in 1947*. Stopped in 1949 after 7 issues.

The starring character is Bob Reed, who has studied Tibetan magic. In his alter ego as Red Dragon he masters an array of different skills such as blast powers, flight, and underwater breathing, all of which he uses to neutralize villains. When he chants 'Po-she-lo' he summons a Tibetan boy named Ching Foo and a komodo dragon called Komodo to help him on his crusades.

* The title character's first series ran from 1943 to 1944 (5 issues), but he was first seen in Super Magician Comics (9 appearances).
